The doorman provided exceptional assistance with my luggage every time I entered or left the hotel I appreciated the thoughtful touch of providing a kettle for tea and coffee which made my evenings more comfortable. The serene inner courtyard served as a perfect retreat for reading and relaxing.
The hotel entrance could be easily overlooked due to the lack of a bold sign.

Exceptional Experience with Attentive Service
My family and I had a splendid stay, feeling almost royal in the elegantly decorated Classic Double Room. The attention to detail in the service was remarkable, with friendly staff catering to our every need, from complimentary treats to personalized recommendations. The location was perfect, just a short stroll from key attractions like the British Museum and Bloomsbury's peaceful gardens. the addition of a daily service charge upon checkout was a bit unexpected.

Exceptional Staff and Cozy Atmosphere
During my recent stay, I was genuinely impressed by the exceptional staff and their attention to detail. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, even leaving sweet treats in our beautifully decorated Classic Double Room. The location is ideal, just a stone's throw from the British Museum, making it easy to explore the city. the room was a bit small and had some noise from the street on occasion.

We absolutely loved our junior suite with its golden light fittings and smart design. Having a separate shower room was a real treat. The cozy garden area and inviting bar really made it easy to unwind after a long day. The only small hassle was the limited space in the bathroom, but we didn't let that stop us from having a fantastic time! 🌟

missingWrote a review on Dec 03private tourfantastic breakfast
Had an amazing stay with friends! We loved exploring the local area and took a private tour to the British Museum and the Tower of London, exclusive to hotel guests. The staff were attentive, and the breakfast was fantastic. Just a heads up, the rooms can be a bit snug, so pack light!
Our experience was slightly marred by the extra service fee charged at checkout, which wasn’t mentioned when we checked in. It felt a bit awkward having to pay it last minute.

The smoked fish at the Blue Door Bistro is an absolute game-changer, and we couldn’t get enough of the delightful lunches it served. The Leopard Bar was also a cozy spot for our nightcap – truly a hidden gem. Our Classic Double Room was beautifully unique, making us feel right at home.
Afternoon tea could’ve packed a bigger punch. it felt a bit ordinary. £28 for breakfast left us wanting a bit more than just a buffet spread. Still, everything else totally shined!

I enjoyed my stay at The Montague on the Gardens. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the British Museum and Covent Garden. The staff greeted us warmly upon arrival and made us feel at home instantly. Each evening, we found delightful treats waiting in our room, like biscuits and chocolates. The garden area offered a lovely spot for drinks and live music, creating a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. the room felt a bit cramped with our luggage, and it could use a refresh. Noise from the street seeped in, making it difficult to sleep in at times, especially with the city’s hustle and bustle. But the food was excellent. Breakfast had plenty of options, and we couldn't get enough of the smoked fish at the restaurant. Definitely a memorable experience overall, despite a few minor hiccups.
